Why we carry Xeomin (Merz)

Xeomin (Merz Pharmaceuticals, Germany) is the third FDA-approved Type-A botulinum toxin and the only one without accessory complex proteins — it's the pure 150 kDa neurotoxin without the larger protein envelope that Allergan Botox and Dysport carry. FDA-approved 2010, EU since 2005.

Clinical signature: the absence of complex proteins matters most for patients receiving repeat treatments over years — the body's immune system can develop neutralising antibodies to the complex proteins (not the toxin itself), reducing efficacy over time. Xeomin's pure-toxin design avoids this. For first-time or occasional patients, the practical difference vs Allergan or Dysport is small. For long-term Botox users (treatments every 3–4 months for 5+ years), Xeomin is the safest choice against eventual resistance.

Pricing tier: mid. ฿5,000 / area at Waleerat is the most common 'long-term' choice for patients who plan repeat treatments and want to protect against future tolerance. The cost-per-effect is similar to Allergan, with the immune-system insurance built in.
