Tourmaline is a cog thread made from polycaprolactone (PCL) rather than the more common polydioxanone. The difference is how long the material stays: PCL is absorbed over roughly 24–36 months against 6–12 for PDO, so collagen stimulation continues for longer from a single placement.
The thread is absorbed into carbon dioxide and water and leaves no residue. Two gauges are used at this clinic, PCL-21 and PCL-60, chosen by the area being lifted.

- Use gentle cleansing after 24 hours and follow the clinic's makeup timing.
