Ulthera 与 Ultraformer 属于聚焦超声，能量作用于深层支撑层，这一层决定“提升”。Thermage FLX 与 Oligio X 属于单极射频，热量在真皮层内较大范围分布，这决定“紧致”与肤质。提升和紧致是两个不同的问题，因此许多患者是两类各做一项，而不是二选一。
