Lifting a face without surgery — which approach fits which problem
Three different things are called a non-surgical facelift, and they do not treat the same problem. Energy reaches the deep support layer or heats the dermis. Threads reposition tissue mechanically. Biostimulators and skin boosters rebuild structure or improve the skin itself. A face usually needs one of these more than the others, and the assessment is what decides it — not the price list.
Energy — ultrasound and radiofrequency
Ulthera and Ultraformer are focused ultrasound: energy is delivered to the deep support layer, and that is what produces lift. Thermage FLX and Oligio X are monopolar radiofrequency: the dermis is heated more broadly, and that is what firms skin and improves texture. Lift and firmness are different problems, and many patients are treated with one of each rather than choosing between them.

Structure and skin quality — injectables
Sculptra, Radiesse and Ellansé are structural. They are placed deeper, and the body lays down its own collagen around the material. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid and works gradually — it adds nothing on the day. Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite and Ellansé is polycaprolactone; both carry a gel that occupies volume from the day of treatment, with the collagen result building behind it. Profhilo, Juvelook and Rejuran are skin treatments. Profhilo is a hybrid hyaluronic acid used to hydrate and remodel, Juvelook is a PDLLA booster for glow and firmness, and Rejuran is a purified salmon-derived polynucleotide used for repair and texture. Skin treatments do not replace lost volume, and structural products do not fix surface quality — many patients are treated with one of each rather than choosing between them.
